What is Business Viewpoint?
Business Viewpoint is an administration facility that gives your organisation an additional layer of functionality on top of the standard Christian Finance Online platform. It has been designed to allow your church, Christian organisation, or business to set up logins for officers or employees with different levels of access, from view-only through to full transactional.
With Business Viewpoint you can:
- Set up logins and passwords for users within your organisation
- Define the access level of each user
- Define transaction limits for each user
- Choose which accounts each user can and cannot see
- Maintain and reset passwords for your organisation's users
How to apply
To get started with Business Viewpoint, an Organisation client will nominate the person(s) they require as their Business Viewpoint Administrator(s). This can be done either via a new application form or a Manage Organisation Representative request through Connect.
ℹ️ Note: All administrators must have been previously identified in accordance with AUSTRAC (Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre) requirements and must have applied for Christian Finance Online.
Administrator(s) cannot transact on the organisation's accounts via Online unless they are also an Authorised Signatory to the account.
Levels of access
There are three levels of access within Business Viewpoint, each controlling what a user can do.
Administrator Manages the access of all users, determines which accounts are accessible, sets authorisation limits, and resets passwords.
Internet Signing Authority Has authority to transact on and operate organisation accounts as chosen by the Administrator, up to a maximum daily limit set by the Administrator.
Data Entry User Can create transactions but cannot approve them. Able to perform administrative tasks such as downloading statements, uploading ABA files, preparing payments for approval, and maintaining payees.
Terms and conditions
Before setting up a login and password for any user (including Internet Signing Authorities, Data Entry Users, or View Only Users), the Administrator(s) must provide them with the latest copy of the Online and Business Viewpoint Terms and Conditions set out in the Product Disclosure Statement.
Each time a user accesses Online, they will be required to acknowledge their acceptance of the latest terms and conditions applying at that time.
⚠️ Password security: Administrators must observe the terms and conditions of Online and Business Viewpoint, paying particular attention to the section titled "The Security of your codes is very important", especially regarding passwords created for users who have not yet accessed Online for the first time to establish their own passwords.
